Siblings: John Leonard was one of nine children of Thomas and Jane. One, Sidney Thorton died as an infant. The remaining siblings were: William Henry, Susan (Jenny) Jane, Lucinda Ann, James Macklin, Thomas (Welly) Llewellyn, Edith Alice, and Stanley Rosengrave.
